Lewis Allonby - Fashion & Costume
I am a costume designer and creator, who loves nothing more than to be at my ‘creative station’ (aka my desk) buddied with my sewing machine and fabric. Along with my creative flair, I have Asperger’s Syndrome and Dyslexia. Despite these only being diagnosed age 18 and 19, after completing my GCSEs in mainstream school I went on to complete Level 3 Extended Diploma in art & design (fashion & clothing), then ABC Foundation in art, design & media (predegree, level 3-4) at MK College.
After deciding university was not for me, I went on to join Arts Central in 2015 and now studying an evening skills course in Millinery at Northampton College and have my own Facebook group page documenting my creative work called
The Aspie Costumier.
I plan to carry on expanding my creative skills, to stay on at Arts Central and one day I want to start my own business.
