Chaitra Channappa

Currently spending most of the time teaching Art and Design to Kids and adults alike, during spare time Chaitra likes experimenting with different media to create Artworks. She has been teaching Art and Design for nearly two years now and likes the interaction and learning that comes with it. After recently completing a course she is now testing new waters of Graphic design too! All in all, Chaitra’s career transition from being a QC Microbiologist to an Artist/Art teacher has been worthwhile for Art has no boundaries for creative minds.

Chan Ly is a creative fashion artist who is driven by her passion for fashion. She takes inspiration from many sources; from the history of fashion, fashion designers and photographers to arts and ballet. Over the last two years at Arts Central she has developed her approach to fashion illustration, experimenting with pencil, painting, watercolours and mixed media.

Elaine Marsh Elaine Marsh Arts

I make stained glass. For the past couple of years I have been using the Tiffany/copper foil method in my work because it allows me to focus on intricate details –especially three-dimensional aspects which are my forte. I like to test the limits of ‘bending’ a non-pliable material such as glass ….. which can look fluid when set at the right angle.

Hayden Otton Hayden's Artworks

Hayden has worked as an artist/illustrator and designer/maker for 40 years. Currently he works in the film industry as producer and art director/production designer, and enjoys creating everything from models to props and costumes for film, television, cosplay and LARP. He does fantasy and science fiction art as Hayden’s Artworks and designs and creates collectors’ boxes and fan art reproductions for Sdeco Design.

Jane Charles Smallbeans

With a degree in Fashion and Textiles I’ve been concentrating on Creative Textiles for the last 7 years. Primarily I dye fabric, print and machine embroider small art quilts. I also incorporate found vintage papers when I feel inspired. Teaching for (CLMK) Adult Education and working in schools on large-scale textile projects keeps me busy. Four times a year I run creative relaxing days at the MK Quaker Centre called – Make Me Relax.

Katarzyna Sajko Katarzyna's Art

Katarzyna Sajko, who has a passion for vibrant colours and the warmth of wool, is changing traditional needle felting into modern 2D and 3D stylish art projects. Alongside Katarzyna’s wool painted pictures you will find sculptures and figures all done in natural sheep’s wool and felted by hand. Owner of the Malwa deco personalised handmade gifts and decorations Co.

Lewis Allonby The Aspie Costumier

I am a costume designer and creator for the Aspie Costumier, who loves nothing more than to be at my ‘creative station’ (aka my desk) buddied with my sewing machine and fabric. Along with my creative flair, I have Asperger’s Syndrome and Dyslexia. I went on to complete Level 3 Extended Diploma in art & design (fashion & clothing), then ABC Foundation in art, design & media (predegree, level 3-4) at MK College.

Loana Stebuliauskiene

I am an artist and poet. I was born in Lithuania where I finished A. Martinaitis Art School in 1986 and Academy of Art in 1992. For almost 20 years, I worked as an artist in Kaunas Musical Theatre. I delivered 9 scenography projects. I have presented around 20 solo exhibitions and joined exhibitions of paintings around Europe.

Maarika White Maarika White

I am a freelance artist originally from Estonia, based in Milton Keynes UK. I have travelled the world and I was privileged to have the opportunity to live in conservative England, colourful Bulgaria and frozen Estonia. Instead of titles I find a song for every painting. Each of my work is associated with a particular soundtrack or song.

Maliheh Zafarnezhad Maliheh Zafarnezhad Artist

I am an Irish-Iranian artist and have recently moved from Ireland to UK. I am known as a multi-media artist, practiced in fine art for more than ten years in various methods such as drawing, painting, monoprint, installation and video-arts. I have MA in History of Art and Architecture, and have carried out art research on Persian, Islamic and Renaissance arts, specifically in painting and drawing as my main art medium. Inspirations in my artworks usually emerge out of my multi-national identity, mixed culture, immigration experiences and childhood memories from Iran.

Matt Worthington Storm Videos

Storm Videos are a video production company based in Milton Keynes producing high quality videos across the United Kingdom. It is our focus to demonstrate the best of any business or event through the use of high quality visuals and sound. Since the company was founded in 2012, Storm Videos have built up a strong client base in the local area and beyond. We have worked with clients such as Isuzu Trucks, Beijing West Industries, Worcester City Council and West Mercia Police.

Nicola Saunderson Nicola Saunderson

My work investigates locations at the edge of our urban environment. Recent work referring to roundabouts, paths, and underpasses in Milton Keynes, places that tend to simply be “passed through”. Drawings are informed by photographs, sketches, and notes made whilst walking, developing these to form a visualisation of place that might deconstruct, map, or document an experience of site.

Pandora Pandora

Hi! Here at Pandora we provide the diverse community of Milton Keynes opportunities for inclusion in a variety of
performance and expressive arts experiences in an informal and friendly creative environment. We also offer assistance with Basic Literary/Numeracy Skills, and training in potential in a unique and fun way to suit you!

Rachel Baker Rachel Baker Artist

I am a self taught, pet portrait commissions artist based in Milton Keynes. I specialise in realistic coloured pencil drawings. I work from photos to capture the character of animals on paper. Portraits have the ability to bring beloved pet, past and present, character and personality that other art forms like photography simply don’t express. One of the biggest joys in my life is bring joy to people through my artwork.

Robin Souter Robin Souter

I have been associated with Arts Central for a few years. Being part of an interesting and eclectic artistic Community in Milton Keynes is both challenging and worthwhile. There are so many talented people around and I hope my own contributions are relevant.

Sheree Murray Cute Maps

Sheree Murray has been illustrating personal, quirky maps for events, gifts and stationery since 2010. As well as valuing her recognition within the wedding industry to which her style fits very appropriately, Sheree also works with corporates and small business on map commissions and dedicates herself to local projects- her ‘Milton Keynes Cute Map’ grew into an MK gift collection and a relationship with MK Council developing their arts and culture map.

Susan Mooiman Sdeco Design

Susan is a designer/maker for Sdeco Design, together with Hayden Otton. They’ve got  45 years experience specialising in props for film, television, cosplay and LARP. Additionally they make: boxes from a variety of materials for themed gift sets, collectables and weddings; custom built items commissioned by game, film and television fans.

Yvonne Elliot Mix3d Stitch

I have an MA in Russian theatre history and a PGCE in post-compulsory education. I create imaginary landscapes using hand-dyed and printed papers and fabrics which I layer, stitch into and embellish. I also paint in acrylics and water-mixable oils and am developing a thematic series to complement my stitched works.
