We start with the Arts Central Art Fair with stalls full of handmade items by our residents, workshops, and an open house for visitors to walk around our new building and talk to our creatives. We then open the bar and at 7pm Martin Petchey, the Mayor of Milton Keynes, officially cuts the ribbon. John Best, Chair of AGMK Trustees will also say a few words.

After that we launch the exhibition “Walk down Memory Lane & Path to the Future”, which has works of ex and current residents over the last 5 years. There will be performances from Concrete Circus and more to be confirmed. At 9 pm there is an Open Mic for everyone who has a creative act, if you wish to participate, please email events@artsgatewaymk.org.uk. We then have break with the opportunity to eat, drink and network. At 10 pm we start the late performances and the event ends at 12 am.

  • Hello, two of us want to attend this event tonight, as I am keen to do some volunteering when I retire early next year and John Best suggested I come along to the open night to find out more. However Eventbrite wont let me book, it just says sold out. Hoping we can just turn up at 6.30pm?
